Nasarawa State Chapter of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has setup a committee to pray to God to grand President Muhammadu Buhari good health.
The State CAN Chairman, Bishop Joseph Masin, told Daily Asset in Lafia, the state capital that “he is our President, so he needs our prayers and we all need to pray for him irrespective of our differences.
“We pray that may Almighty God grant the President speedy recovery in order to come back and continue his responsibilities in office,’’ he said.
According to him, the committee is also to pray for the peaceful coexistence among the deferent ethnic and religion groups in the state.
He added that the association is also not in support of the disintegration of the country and advised those agitating for break up to be careful of the consequences.
Masin said the association has concluded plans to tour all the 13 Local Government Areas of the state to sensitize Christians on the need to embrace peace.
“CAN would soon organize crusade in all the three senatorial zones of the state for the spiritual revival of Christians,” Masin added.
He advised Christians to be united and tolerate faithful of other religion for the peace and development of the state and the country at large.
