.HRM Tor Tiv is Royal Father of the Day

Bayelsa State Governor, Hon. Henry Seriake Dick-son, has confirmed his participation at the public presentation of DAILY ASSET Newspaper slated for November 24 in Abuja.
Dickson is among 11 Governors specially invited to the event which coincides with the 50th Birthday Anni-versary of the Newspaper’s publisher, Dr Cletus Akwaya.
The Governors invited to perform different roles at the occasion include Samuel Ortom(Benue); Hassan Ibra-him Dankwambo (Gombe); Umaru Tanko Al-Makura (Nasarawa); Udom Emmanuel (Akwa-Ibom); Darius D. Ishaku (Taraba); Jibrilla Umaru Bindow(Adamawa); Mohammed Abubakar (Bauchi); Simon Lalong (Plat-eau); Nasir el-Rufai (Kaduna) and Ben Ayade(Cross-River) and Yahaya Bello(Kogi) while the Wife of the Governor of Kebbi State, Dr Zainab Bagudu has been invited as Mother of the Day.
In a statement, the Management of Asset Newspapers Ltd, said the Tor Tiv, HRM, Prof. James Ayatse(Tor Tiv V) is expected to grace the occasion as Royal Fa-ther of the Day.
Erudite Scholar and Dean of Post-Graduate School, Benue State University (BSU) Makurdi, Prof. Armstrong Adejo, would be the Guest Speaker at the event, which hopes to draw together top government functionaries, members of the Diplomatic Corps, lead-ers and Chieftains of the political parties, Captains of industry, Media Executives and professionals from across the country, the statement said.
“The DAILY ASSET platform was conceived for the people, to give voice to the voiceless. In keeping with the objectives, we wish to take the paper to the people, the true owners”, the statement said in part.
It said the ceremony will hold at the Conference Hall, Royal Choice Hotel, behind CBN Headquarters (beside National Ecumenical Centre), Central Business District, Abuja by 10.00am.
Since its debut, the newspaper has speedily made in-roads into the media market with its well researched stories and well-thought out editorials on topical issues affecting society.
It has established a strong online presence attracting huge traffic on its websites www.dailyasset.ng.
The newspaper has opened bureaus in all six geo-political zones of the country with Correspondents in all states of the federation where the print edition is also distributed and sold by vendors and agents.
