“I will not fail the emir,  and I will not fail the entire emirate council.

” I will discharge my responsibilities in the best way I can to justify the confidence reposed on me, and to ensure it is not abused in any way,” he said.

A palace official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that the Zanna Sunoma is a traditional title given to someone who is expected to mediate between the Emir and the Madakin Lafia

”He becomes a member of the Emir’s traditional council,” he said. (NAN)
