Chief Damain D. Dodo was born September 17, 1966. He was called to Nigerian Bar in 1986 and elevated to the prestigious rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria in 2001. Damian Dodo held several positions that include: Chairman, National Agency for the prohibition of Traffic in Persons and other Related Matters. In 2002, he held the position of Chairman, Federal Government Panel of Inquiry. He also served as Member, National Executive Committee, Nigeria Bar Association and Member, Taraba State Judiciary Service Commission .
From 2007-2011, Dodo was Member, Legal Practitioners Privileges Committee and also Member, National Working Group on Reform of Investment Law in Nigeria (2007). He served as Member, Body of Benchers and Member, Gov-erning Council, Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (2008-2011). In hs career, Dodo handled some landmark cases some of which reshaped the country’s ju-risprudence.In recognition of his services to the nation therefore, he was conferred with the national honour of Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic(OFR). He is the Principal Counsel, D.D. Dodo &Co based in Abuja.
