ADAMAWA State Governor, Umaru Jibrilla Bindow has assured that his administration will not leave any abandoned projects at the end of his stewardship.
Besides, Governor Bindow said his administration would place high premium on the health and education sectors, in the infrastructural development of the state.
Speaking while kick starting a total reconstruction of the Numan General Hospital, he said in the last two years, his administration embarked on massive reconstruction of roads in the major towns including giving a total facelift Yola, the state capital.
He stressed that apart from the Numan General Hospital, the Yola specialist hospital, the Mubi, Vange General Hospitals would also be covered in the reconstruction programme.
The Governor, lamented the sorry state off the facilities in the health care sector.
Until now, there had been a near total neglect of infrastructures like hospitals and schools, especially post primary institutions. By past administrations.
The Governor told the mammoth crowd that turned up to witnessed the flag off, his administration would be using local contractors that have proven record of performance, assuring that he was going to ensure adequate funding.
He stated that his administration has decided to use local contractors in the health and Education sectors so as to reinflate the local economy.
For his part, paramount ruler of the Bahama Kingdom, His majesty Hama Bahama, Honest Stephen Irimiya Kpafrato 11, commended the state Governor for the tremendous developments witnessed in the last two years, especially in roads construction and peace building efforts.
He stated that the people of the area were solidly behind Bindow, as the administration has impacted positively on the area.
