Coach Abdullahi Biffo has been charged by Katsina State Governor Aminu Bello Masari to add value to Katsina United after he signed a two-year contract with the NPFL outfit.
Biffo has replaced Bauldwin Bazuaye, who quit his post last week.
He will be assisted by Bishir Sadauki, who assisted coach Baldwin Bazuaye last season.
“The Governor has tasked coach Biffo to add more value to the club,” said club chairman Aminu Kurfi after the coach was presented to the public at the Katsina Government House Wednesday.
“We are confident we will achieve a lot together as a team.”
Last season, Katsina United finished 16th on the NPFL table with 52 points from 38 matches.
Biffo won promotion for Giwa FC of Jos to the NPFL four years ago. The graduate of physical and health education has also worked with Niger Tornadoes and Abia Warriors.
