Kogi: Group Back Philanthropist for 2019 Guber

A group known as Kabiru Haruna Foundation has urged a philanthropist, Alhaji Kabiru Sahara to contest the 2019 governorship election in Kogi State since the present government has failed the expectation of Kogi citizens.

The group in a statement signed by its leader, Musa Wada and made available to newsmen, indicated that Alhaji Kabiru who is popularly known as Alhaji Sahara is the answer to so many problems bedeviling Kogi State.

The statement read in part; “Alhaji Sahara is a philanthropist, the man of the people, he understands better the challenges facing Kogi State in particular and Nigeria in general, he is the one that will take the people of Kogi out of the present political and economic logjam they found themselves.”

Continuing, the group said that Alhaji Sahara is the second adoja of to come to Kogi state and advise all loving people of Kogi State, irrespective of tribe, party affiliation to rally round Sahara for the good of Kogi state.

He said when eventually Alhaji Sahara is voted into power, the issue of worker’s verification, delay in payment of workers, pensioners salaries will be a thing of the past.

Explaining why he will prefer Alhaji Sahara for the governorship position in Kogi State, the group leader said that he is a philanthropist per excellence who loves helping people as demonstrated recently in his help to the less privilege ones by sponsoring people to Saudi Arabia, providing food for the less privileged especially in this recession.

Alhaji Sahara owns an estate known as Sahara Estate in Abuja, he also owns Dubai market at the Games Village etc.

Meanwhile, a member of the group, Princess Adele Olisealo has congratulated the AMAC chairman, Alhaji Adamu Candido on his recent celebration of Kogi year in office and pray that God will continue to be with him as he continue the good work he has started at the Abuja Municipal Area Council.
