Police Confirm Murder of Beer Parlour owner in Kebbi, Arrest Five

The Kebbi State police command Public Relations Officer, Dsp Nafiu Abubakar has confirmed the gruesome murder of one Helen at a beer palour near dukku barracks in Birnin Kebbi, the Kebb state capital.

The late helen operated a beer shop at B-joy at Badariya area.

According to the police spokesman, the deceased was killed with a sharp object suspected to be a pair of scissors choked on her neck.

The murder was allegedly committed on the September 30, 2020, after the assailants jumped over the fence at about  4.00AM disposed her of the day’s sales before attacking her.

Our source revealed that late Helen hailed from Imo State and her murder was not unconnected with her rapid promotion at the business place.

He added that the deceased came barely two months but was promoted to manager when many others had been working there for many years.

However, the police has confirmed the arrest of five persons in connection with the murder and are being investigated at the State criminal investigation unit.

The remains of the deceased have been deposited at the hospital and no body has come to claim the dead body.

Before her death, late Helen worked in Abuja. She later moved to Kwanawa area in Sokoto State before relocating to Kebbi  a few months ago, the sources informed.
