He said: “The Word of God in Hebrews 13:1 says, “Let brotherly love continue.” What a profound and deeply stirring exhortation! When meditated upon, this passage can illuminate your heart and open your mind to divine epiphanies by the Spirit of God.
Glory to His Name! “The Lord Jesus, in His infinite wisdom, declared the greatest commandment: “Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, soul, and mind,” followed by this: “Love thy neighbor as thyself.”Brotherly love, therefore, isn’t merely a suggestion—it is a divine mandate! Hallelujah!”We are utilizing every medium available—social media, billboards, television, radio, and more—to share this divine invitation. Thousands of brethren across Abuja and its environs well branded and kitted are reaching out daily, spreading the Good News, distributing flyers, and inviting everyone to this life-changing program. Yes, ‘Upward and Forward Only with Pastor Chris’ will take place from the 21st to the 23rd of March, 2025, at the Main Bowl of the National Stadium, Abuja, starting at 3 PM daily. Hallelujah! “To love God is to serve Him and to honor Him with our lives, walking in obedience to His divine instructions. When we follow His Word, our faith is expressed, and therein lies our success. This is the very heartbeat of ‘Upward and Forward Only with Pastor Chris’. For decades, I have had the privilege of pastoring and mentoring countless souls, and I can tell you this: the love of God is the very crux of the Gospel. His love compels us to speak with wisdom, to react with grace, and to stand boldly for the truth. Hallelujah!”As Christians, we are custodians of the Gospel of Christ. This sacred message is not ours to keep hidden; we are commissioned to take it to the ends of the earth. Matthew 28:19-20 the Master charges us to go into all the world and preach the Good News to every creature. This is our divine calling! For ‘Upward and Forward Only with Pastor Chris’, the Holy Spirit has directed us to bring this message of salvation and divine life to the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria, Abuja. Praise the Lord!”Regardless of your background—whether you are a Free Thinker, Muslim, Animist, Buddhist, or Occultist—this message is for YOU! The love of God knows no boundaries, and His salvation is available to all who will receive it. We invite you to join us for this extraordinary 3-day event that will transform your life forever. Love compels us to act, to give, and to bring others into the fullness of God’s blessings in Christ Jesus. Praise the Lord! This is why we are sparing no expense—because some things are worth far more than money. Jesus paid the ultimate price for our salvation, and now it is our time to shine His light to the world.”Beloved, the love of God has brought immense success into my life, and I am passionate about seeing you live victoriously in Christ Jesus. This is why my brethren and I from all Christ Embassy Churches and LoveWorld Fellowships across Abuja extend this heartfelt invitation to you. Come and experience the power of God for yourself!”

LagRide Drivers to Boycott Services, Plan Protest over Threat of Arrest

Drivers of LagRide, a government-backed ride-hailing platform, have threatened boycott of services over threats by the platform’s operators to involve the Lagos State Task Force in arresting them over alleged misconduct.

Mr Steven Iwindoye, Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Amalgamated Union of App-Based Transporters of Nigeria (AUATON), disclosed this in Ikeja on Thursday.

Report says that LagRide management accused drivers of discouraging riders from using the LagRide app and promoting alternative ride-hailing services such as InDrive and Bolt.

In a notice sent to drivers, the management alleged that some were refusing trips without valid reasons and collecting cash payments instead of processing fares through the app.

It described these actions as policy violations and sabotage.

To enforce compliance, LagRide management warned that officials from the Lagos state task force and regulators would monitor and arrest non-compliant drivers.

“Non-compliant captains (drivers) will face strict disciplinary measures, including possible arrest, impoundment of vehicles, and legal action,” the notice stated.

However, Iwindoye warned LagRide management against impounding vehicles and arresting drivers, stating that such actions would escalate tensions.

“The government’s failure to address our concerns may lead to protests and strike action, including shutting down LagRide,” he said.

Iwindoye explained that drivers resorted to offline negotiations and cash payments because LagRide disabled the cash option in the app, allegedly to force drivers to remit earnings and receive payments weekly.

He criticised this arrangement, saying in spite of multiple levies imposed by CIG Motors,” the company does not cover vehicle maintenance or repairs.”

These levies include insurance, communication, dashcam, and phone charges.

Report says that CIG Motors Co. Ltd, is a Chinese state-owned automaker of GAC Motors.

LagRide, initially a partnership between the Lagos State Government and Zenolynk Technology Ltd, the original app developer, is now controlled by CIG motors Co. Ltd.

CIG motors took over management after the Lagos government’s partnership with Zenolynk ended in March.

Following the transition, CIG Motors launched a new app after the original developer reportedly shut down the old one.

However, barely a month into its operations, LagRide faces a growing crisis as drivers continue their offline boycott, demanding app-related issues be addressed.(NAN)

The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has announced the arrest of three suspected vandals allegedly responsible for damaging power line installations in Agbogugu, Enugu State.

In a statement issued in Abuja on Thursday, Ndidi Mbah, TCN’s General Manager of Public Affairs, said the arrest took place on March 24 through a joint effort between community members and law enforcement agencies.

She said the suspects were initially detained at Agbogugu Police Station, Ozalla, before being transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, and later remanded in prison after their first court appearance.

“TCN officials are working closely with the police to ensure the vandals face justice.

“This incident highlights the importance of community vigilance and cooperation with law enforcement in combating vandalism.”

She urged host communities to remain alert and report any suspicious activities to security operatives or the nearest TCN office.

Mbah emphasised that vandalism undermined the nation’s efforts to maintain a reliable and efficient transmission grid.

“By working together, we can protect our communities and ensure a more robust transmission network.

“Prompt reporting of suspicious activities will greatly help in preventing such incidents and bringing perpetrators to justice,”she said.(NAN)
