CBN Invites 200 Businessmen, Firms to Join Fight Against COVID-19

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), has invited not fewer than two hundred  highly placed individuals in the private sector and corporate organizations across the country to join in the fight against the novel Coronavirus pandemic.

 


A statement by the  Director of Corporate Communications, Mr Isaac Okorafor on behalf of the Nigeria Private Sector Coalition Against COVID 19 Coalition Relief Fund (COCAVID) in Abuja on Tuesday, said, “Nigeria needs you now more than ever  before – we are counting on you!!!”.


The statement passionately appealed to the concerned individuals and organizations as well those yet to be invited “to join the national fight against the COVID-19 pandemic and provide whatever support they can to the CACOVID Relief Fund”.


It enjoined them to channel their support “through any of the following accounts: COVID-19 Relief Fund Account 1000014920 Central Bank of Nigeria; US Dollars CBN TSA USD 0017575300 CitiBank UK”.
