Looters of Public Funds Are Curse to the Nation – Apostle Okoriko

The founder of Solid Rock Kingdom Church, Apostle (DR) John Okoriko said looters of public funds are cursed over their uncharacterized conscience to the nation.

Speaking in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State capital during the monthly interactive service on the theme: Sheep among Viper.

Okoriko disclosed that most of them that keep millions and billions of naira at home while Nigerians are experiencing and witnessing adjective poverty are a generation of vipers that follow with curse from Nigerians.

According to him, no matter any circumstances they make their money and wealth such money would later turn and killed them without compromise

Okoriko who disclose his reading from matthew 23:33, matthew 12:34 and matthew 3:7 where Jesus described the jews as a generation of viper who fled from the wrath of God explaining the viper as a dangerous snake who died after hatching the eggs in their belly, adding that what greedy lives at the expense of the masses will destroy them.

Okoriko, who is against the existence of satan, said the calamity man experiences is their foolishness, adding that those that act stubborn die foolishly over their ideology. The clergy said people should have the fear of God and respect while kicking against the character of looting the nation wealth would surely succeed in life.

I Believe in Polygamy but it’s Very Challenging, Says Varsity Don

A lecturer with Kaduna State University, Bilqeesu Abubakar said as a Muslim she believes in the institution of marriage, especially polygamy, but it is challenging and always lead to crises.“I am a very strong woman, romantic and friendly but unfortunately I married twice and twice the marriage collapsed, but likely for me I have one son from the second marriage”.

“I will attribute the collapse of my first marriage to the fact that I was young and not experienced, but when the marriage packed up, I went back to the university and acquired degrees, but unfortunately I got married again after having one child, the marriage collapsed again due to injustice from my husband.
“You see as a woman from the north, I noticed that most of our women are educationally backward, that is why I am thinking of setting up an NGO to assist women to further their education and to teach them the nitty gritty of making success of their marriages, the rate of divorce in the north is very alarming”.The Kasu lecturer who teaches English and literature in the arts department of the university, advise our religious and community leader to always educate their daughters on demands of marriage, adding that age is still on her side as such if she come across a decent man that will marry her and give her justice, she will marry again. After all she is very romantic, caring and has the zeal to leave a full marriage life again and have children.Commenting on the senator Natasha Akpoti sexual crises, Bilqeesu said, Natasha have her sympathy but mismanage her crisis, the senate president is powerful and can turn the table against her, if I am in her shoe, I will not expose what happened between her and the senate president.

Auta Waziri, a successful singer is from Kaduna State and has so far released several musical albums into the market that has made him popular and fetched huge sums of money for him, including getting patronages and gifts from well-wishers.Speaking to DAILY ASSET recently, Auta revealed that even though we have many old and new singers in the North, since he joined Kannywood, he has become an instant celebrity with politicians and couples signing him for one project or the other.

On whether his lovely tunes are not causing problems between him and his family, no! no!!. Its business, my wife knows me very well, Auta Waziri as a singer is different from Auta Waziri who is happily married to the woman he loved.
“of recent, I have been busy and always offline in the media because I am very much engaged in publicity through music to ensure that Kaduna State Governor, Dr. Uba Sani secured a second term, to be a leader is not easy, I watched to governor closely and he is doing a wonderful job but some people are not appreciating.On why he based most of his musical activities in Kaduna, Auta noted, yes, Kano is the headquarter of Kannywood, with talented actors and actresses, but in Kaduna, one can move to any part of the North and succeed as a singer, people are asking me why am I changing my music from that of traditional to political, it is because things are changing, politics and entertainment including the media are meant to create awareness, that is why you see women in their hundreds are hanging around us but I can tell you it is purely business and we are here to create jobs for the society to be less of criminal activities.On his immediate plans, he intense to build a studio and something like film village and engage hundreds of workers, speaking also on who is Auta Waziri and who is Auta Boy, he laughed and noted, we are different but he is my friend for a very long time, but people always differentiate us when they listen to our music.

Adamawa Launches Five-Day Capacity Building Workshop for Frontline Health Workers

The Adamawa State Primary Health Care Development Agency, in collaboration with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), has commenced a five-day capacity building workshop for frontline healthcare workers on Basic Emergency Obstetric and Newborn Care (BEmONC) under the strengthening Access to Reproductive Health (SARAH) Project.

The opening ceremony, brought together key health sector stakeholders and development partners committed to improving maternal and newborn health outcomes in the state.
In his opening remarks, the Executive Chairman of the Adamawa State Primary Health Care Development Agency, Dr. Suleiman Saidu Bashir, emphasized the critical role of BEmONC in equipping healthcare workers with lifesaving skills to manage complications during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postnatal period.
He noted that the training aligns with the state government’s vision to reduce maternal and neonatal mortality rates through improved quality of care at the primary healthcare level.Declaring the workshop open to the Hon. Commissioner for Health, Chief Felix Tangwami, Garkuwan Mbula, represented by the Permanent Secretary, Pharmacist Zirra Mathias Bubanani commended UNFPA’s continued support to the state and urged participants to maximize the training to enhance their capacity in managing obstetric emergencies.A goodwill message was delivered by the Chairperson of the State Planning Commission, who reiterated the government’s commitment to achieving Sustainable Development Goal 3 ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all at all ages with a focus on reducing preventable maternal and newborn deaths.In a separate interview, the program manager EU-SARAH project Mal Ahmed Yero said the objectives of the workshop include:Strengthening the capacity of frontline healthcare workers to provide timely and effective emergency obstetric and newborn care.Enhancing early detection and management of pregnancy-related complications.Reducing delays in accessing skilled care during emergencies.Dr. Danladi Idirisa UNFPA State coordinator said BEmONC training is widely recognized as a key intervention in addressing the leading causes of maternal and neonatal mortality, such as postpartum hemorrhage, prolonged labor, eclampsia, and newborn asphyxia. By improving the skills of healthcare providers, the state aims to ensure more women and newborns survive childbirth-related complications, particularly in rural and underserved communitiesThe lead consultant facilitator Dr. Habiba Bakari of Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital said the workshop will feature practical demonstrations, case studies, and simulations, ensuring participants gain hands-on experience in managing emergencies and saving lives.
