Omowunmi, the widow of late Afrobeats star, Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad has agreed to conduct a DNA test to prove the paternity of her 5-month-old son, Liam.

After Mohbad’s untimely demise, rumours began circulating on social media suggesting that his son, whom he had acknowledged before his death, might not be his biological child but instead belonged to Sam Larry, one of the individuals who had bullied Mohbad when he was alive.

These speculations led to a significant backlash and calls for a DNA test to confirm the child’s true parentage.

Amidst the controversy, Mohbad’s wife finally addressed the situation. She explained that she had refrained from responding to the rumors and backlash due to the guidance of her lawyer and sister.

However, she expressed her readiness to undergo a DNA test to put the speculations to rest.

She emphasized that she had never had any intimate relationship with Sam Larry and that Mohbad was the one who took her virginity.

She said; “Please help me I’m ready for it. I have never have a physical conversation with samlarry in my life.
I only greet him whenever I see him. Mohbad got me deflowered. How do i go about it? I’m ready. It’s just people around me, Most especially My lawyer. Can you help me speak my sister? I am ready.

Peter Okoye, one-half of the defunct Nigerian Afrobeats duo, P-Square, has accused his twin brother, Rudeboy of always joining popular trends to bring him down.

Peter made the allegation on Wednesday evening while responding to Rudeboy’s reactions to his post about the advantage of Nigerian languages.

Peter had while responding to a question from his fan, asked “who Naija language help?”

The singer has been heavily criticised online following the controversial statement.

Distancing himself from Peter, Rudeboy in several posts on X said, “I’m a ‘nobody’.

I repeat! A nobody! Without the culture, native, language.”

However, reacting, Peter said “But again, bro, you’re at it again, using this moment as another opportunity to pull me down. Just like I wrote in my open letter two years ago, doing everything possible to make people hate me will never work.

“Yes, people are dragging me over my statement, and that is okay. I accept that. But deliberately twisting my words and using petty tactics to damage my reputation says a lot.”

“I don’t know why you look for every opportunity to make derisive comments or jump on the bandwagon whenever I am being attacked,” he said.
